Hey everyone! I am really sorry that I havnt blogged in awhile but I have been really busy. There has been a lot going on in these past few days/months but im going to try to blog more often now. I really will try. (Katie).
So the first thing that I want to start with is the whole guitar thing. This started in November when Rita and I were talking about what to get each other for our first anniversary. She mentioned to me that she wanted to get a new setting for a ring that I originally got her when we first met and she wanted to know some things that I would like and one of the things that she mentioned was a new guitar. Previously, I had been playing a guitar that she had gotten from a friend a number of years ago. So we had not gone to get the guitar by Christmas and then on Christmas I got a Fawley's gift card. In February, there is a sale that they have where everything is like 50% off so we decided that we are going to wait until Feb. to get the guitar I want so that we can get it cheap. I am very excited!!
Along the same lines, I got many different chord books from different people for Christmas so I am very excited to play some new stuff with my new guitar. It will be awesome! hahaha. I would also like to start writing my own music this time when I get the guitar. To this point I have only written one song, and that was for my friend Mara for when she was leaving for college. I think I wrote a pretty good song lol. I am still very shy to play in front of people, but hopefully eventually I will be able to cause that will be a lot of fun. I would also like to start my lessons again with someone so that I can get better. Hopefully I can find someone as good as my last teacher......hehe. Yay for Dr. Mickey!!
Pretty much the only other thing that I can think about is Lost season 4. Daryl right now is finishing up season 3, and is getting really excited about whats going to happen in season 4. Kristen, Rita and I are also thinking the same thing. There are so many sites out there talking about the different seasons, and I am on them all the time. One of those sites is Lostpedia, which is such an insane site because it has so much information on it! The other site that I really like that Kristen found is flyoceanicair.com. This site is awesome because you have to find clues and it will give you videos and stuff. It is the coolest site ever! It makes it seem like its a real flight that went out and then went down and people are "really" looking for it. I thought that was really cool. So if you have not gone there yet....GO THERE!!!! :-). I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE FOURTH SEASON!!!!!!!!!!!!
